Your next steps

4 min readLesson 4 of 4Beginner

You now know the foundations: what trading is, how prices move, how to read a chart, how to place a trade and how to size it, and why psychology and planning matter. Here is a sensible path from here.

  1. Watch Lesson 0 (Risk Management) and one strategy video that fits your style.
  2. Write a one-page trading plan around that single strategy.
  3. Paper trade it on a demo account for at least 30 to 50 trades, journaling each one.
  4. Review the results in R. If the expectancy is positive and you followed the rules, consider a small live account.
  5. Keep risk at 1% or less per trade and keep journaling. Add a second strategy only once the first one is consistent.
Watch out

Trading involves real risk. Never trade money you need for living expenses, and treat any claim of guaranteed profit as a red flag.

Key takeaway

Slow is fast. One strategy, small size, a written plan and a journal will take you further than chasing every new idea.
